NJECC’s 37th Annual Technology Conference ~ March 7, 2023 - March 8, 2023

Join us on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, for our in-person conference at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. for over 70 presentations and round tables. Join us on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, for an all-virtual day of Hands-On Workshops and Round Table Discussions.

Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Presentations (Day 1)

Our Keynote Speaker on March 7, 2023, is Kelly Croy, an Apple Distinguished Educator, Kelly Croy is the author of Along Came a Leader: A Guide to Personal & Professional Leadership and the author and illustrator of Unthink Before Bed: A Children’s Book on Mindfulness. He is the host of popular Wired Educator Podcast and travels internationally as a speaker. Our Keynote on Tuesday is provided by Apple.

Kelly has served the past 31 years transforming teaching and learning through innovative approaches and bold leadership. He taught English for 26 years at both secondary and college levels, and he now serves Port Clinton City Schools as a district administrator as the Director of Innovation and Instruction.
Kelly has been honored and recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Google Certified Innovator, and a PBS Digital Innovator.

Kelly travels the world as a speaker, educational consultant, and leadership coach.

Join us for more than 70 presentations featuring educational professionals in K-12 schools and universities. This year we will have sessions for Library Media Specialists, Tech Coaches, STEM Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and IT Professionals as well as general sessions for all. All presentations are listed below. You are free to choose from any of the sessions when you register for Tuesday, March 7, 2023. The fee for Tuesday is $115 for NJECC members and $130 for non-members. There will be a late fee of $25.00 after February 24th, 2023. Cancellations after February 24th, 2023 will incur a fee of $50.00.

Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Workshops (Day 2)

Our Keynote for speaker on March 8, 2023 is Kim Festa. Kim currently serves as an English/Language Arts teacher at Valley Middle School in Oakland NJ. She has experience as an elementary and high school educator and is a published author. Mrs. Festa is a graduate of Boston University and Harvard University Graduate School of Education, where she focused her studies on risk and resilience. Mrs. Festa will co-present her keynote presentation with two of her current middle school students. The title of their keynote will be: "Unmute: Listening to the Voices of Teachers and Students through the Static of the Pandemic."

Join us for a day of virtual workshops and round tables. The fee for Day 2 is $95 (members) and $110 (non-members) per workshop. There will be a late fee of $25.00 after February 24th, 2023. Cancellations after February 24th, 2023 will incur a fee of $50.00.

There is a discount for two days. The NJECC Member two-day price is $185.00.
The Non-member two-day price is $215.00.


Exhibition Area: 
Come visit our exhibition area on the main floor of University Hall to view displays and demonstrations from vendors featuring the latest in educational technology products and services.

IT Exhibition Area: Come visit our IT Exhibition area in the Commons area of the ADP Center in University Hall to view displays and demonstrations from our IT vendors featuring the latest in IT and cybersecurity products and services.

IT Professionals: Come join us in the ADP Center to meet other IT specialists and view the exhibition center. There will be breakfast in this area as well as in front of Room 1070.

IGNITE SESSION: Please visit our vendors in the exhibition area in the 1st-floor hallway of University Hall. Prize “dots” will be given out by the vendors. You can fill up your prize card with the dots for a chance to win some great prizes at this last session of the day. We will also have fast-paced presentations for you to enjoy!
